As you guessed it, this song is originally in French, the language of love. It derives from the saying "Voir la vie en rose" which literally translate to " See life in pink" . Basically it means to see life for its beauty or only the beautiful things.
I think it's a beautiful saying and I cannot think of a better saying to talk about on Valentine's Day!
I started painting this rose a couple days ago and I decided it would be a perfect gift for my followers on Valentine's Day.
I had to sketch this rose 4 times before I got it to fit nicely into the paper.
